The Cast Index is an independent fashion and beauty publication covering runway casting, model profiles, seasonal beauty looks and the fashion-week calendar. Our guides explain the industry, and our product reviews link to official brand information.
How are the model rankings decided?
The Global 50 is an editorial assessment of runway presence, campaign work, editorial visibility and cultural influence. Scores reflect the published dataset, not a live industry census. The methodology explains the weighting and evidence behind each rating.
Can brands pay for coverage or a higher ranking?
